Daughter of Otis E. Parker and Mary Elizabeth Vowell; however when her father died in 1902 and her mother remarried shortly thereafter, she and brother George Otis Parker took the last name of stepfather William B. Wilson.

OBITUARY
Mary Wilson Adoue, widow of former Dallas Mayor J.B. Adoue Jr., died Saturday at Baylor University Medical Center. She was 86.

Service arrangements for Mrs. Adoue are pending at Sparkman-Hillcrest Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Crown Hill Memorial Park.

Mrs. Adoue was a native of Paris, Lamar County, who attended high school in Dallas.

She worked as a secretary for several years before marrying Adoue, a Dallas banker, in Dallas in 1937. Adoue was elected to the City Council in 1943 and served as Dallas mayor from 1951 to 1953. He died in 1956.

Mrs. Adoue is survived by a sister, Bonita Beall of Washington, D.C.; a niece, Roberta Wilson Bracken of Dallas; and a nephew, George Wilson of Dallas.
