Norman P. Sheets, 84, Forest, passed away
March 14, 2018, at St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo. He was born November 1, 1933 in Clinton County. He was the son of the late Cleo & Meriam (Wolfe) Sheets. On April 2, 1967, in Morristown, IN, he married Sandra D. Anderson and she survives.

Norman was a 1951 graduate of Forest High School and attended Purdue University. He served with the United States Navy. He retired from Delco Electronics after 30 years of service. Norman was a member of West Point Christian Church and the Indiana State Festival Association serving as past President.

Norman is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sandra D. Sheets, Forest; children, Ellen Sheets, Brownsburg, IN, Roy Sheets (Ashley Taylor), Forest, IN, and Melinda (Joe) Romanowski, Schererville, IN; grandchildren, Gunner Sheets, Hayden Sheets, Holden Sheets, Maxwell Sheets, Emily Cook, and Abigail Taylor; sister, Julia Sander, Georgia; and nieces and nephews, Angel Laughner, Gerald Berry, Tom Berry, Bret Berry, Steve Marshall, Debbie Parker, Susie Darrow, Jeff Sander, Cheryl Sander, and Jeff Anderson.

Norman was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters, Joyce Berry, and Alice Joan Marshall.

Funeral services March 19, 2018, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 East Main Street, Russiaville, with Pastor Darren Miracle officiating. A private burial will be held at Hopewell Cemetery at a later date
