Elizabeth Byers Trammell, 88, formerly of Greenvillem died Dec. 24 in Houston. Services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Peters Funeral Home Chapel with visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday.

Services for Mrs. Elizabeth Byers Trammell, former Greenville resident, are at 2 p.m. tday in Peters Funeral Home, with John Byers officiating. Interment will be in Forest Park Cemetery, Greenville.

Mrs. Trammell passed away in Houston on Friday, Dec. 24.

She was born Jan. 21, 1916, in Celeste to L.H. and Lillie Hefner Byers, and she was reared in Greenville.

After leaving Greenville, she resided in Fort Worth with her husband, Claude Moore. They owned Claude Moore Landscape Service until his death in 1964. Ten years later she maried Byrton Trammell and continued to reside in Fort Worth where she worked for the Fort Worth National Bank.

She was a member and past president of the Fort Worth Poetry Society, a member of the Composers, Authors and Artists of Fort Worth and New York, and of Business and Professional Women of Fort Worth. She attended Riverside Baptist Church until she moved to Houston after the death of Mr. Trammell.

Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Claudia Graham and husband, John; three grandchildren, seven great-greatgrandchildren, and her life-long friend, Mrs. LaVerne Houston Manly of Dallas.

Mrs. Trammell was preceded in death by her son, James R. Moore, Raney and Frances Graham and brother, John S. Byers.
