Marjorie Helen Downey, age 90, of Bridgeton, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 in Bridgeton, Missouri. She was born in Rosiclare, Illinois on November 6, 1927 to the late Garrett and Ruby Kerr (nee King).
Marjorie was the loving wife of the late John Downey. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing the piano and listening to music.
Marjorie is survived by her children, Lee Ann (Richard) Marshall, Ada Lynn (Sam) Cast, Kerry J. (James Coleman) Downey and Richard C. (Dawn) Downey; grandchildren, Heather Marshall, Lindsey Marshall, Kyle Cast, Kodi Reel, Whitney Freeman, Ashley Freeman, Garrett Downey and Chelsea Bailey and a host of other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Cortney Cast.
Funeral Ceremony will be 2:00 pm Sunday, March 11, 2018 at West End Church of Christ 3815 Old Hwy 94 St. Charles, MO 63304 with Minister Matt Stewart officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm at the church on Sunday, March 11, 2018 prior to the funeral ceremony. Private burial will be held at Kirk Cemetery in Ina, IL.
