James Isaac Redmon, aged 30 years died at 2:30 yesterday afternoon at his home, 523 Uncapher Ave. Mr. Redmon, who was employed as a machinist, had been ill with tuberculosis for the past four and one half years, but only seriously for the past eight months.
He was born April 16, 1899 to Albert and May Kimber Redmon. he married Miss Nellie Strause in this city, July 30, 1920. Mr. Redmon was amember of the Emmanuel Baptist Church.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, 250 park Blvd, his widow, and one daughter, Delores Mae; a brother, George Redmon and a half brother, Harvey Redmon, both of this city.
Funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Emmanuel Baptist Church, Burial will be in Marion Cemetery.
