Charles was dedicated to photographing and documenting tombstones and graves in many NY counties including Seneca, Ontario, and Yates counties. He will be greatly missed.

Charles"Charlie" Otterson passed away on March 7, 2018, at F. F. Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua NY.

He was survived by his wife of 48 years; daughter; son; grandson ; granddaughter; two sisters; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours were held on Monday, March 12, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Fuller Funeral Home Inc., 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua. A 3 p.m. funeral service followed at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family asked that a memorial donation to Ontario Pathways, Canandaigua, NY be considered.

Charlie Otterson, a "gentle giant,"was remembered not only as a bus driver and a recreational fisherman but as a genealogist who was was very helpful to people trying track down their local ancestors.

In June 1968 he received an associates degree in applied science (electrical department) from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
