Pradeep supported his children in everything they did and gave them more than everything they needed. He enjoyed playing racquetball and participated in a doubles tennis league with his son, Rajan. His daughters helped him on his mission to find the perfect match on E-Harmony, and loved to spend time with him, whether trying to beat him in Tetris or criticizing the latest Marvel movie. His movie star good looks resulted in him being featured on a prominent billboard in Chicago in 2006.
Growing up, his brother, sisters and parents called him by his nickname “Pappu,” which means “little boy”. They always used the nickname affectionately because he was the youngest in the family. For them, losing the baby of the family is particularly difficult…his smile always lit up the room and made everyone around him smile, too.
Pradeep graduated from Purdue University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. He was passionate about the work he did as an Applications Analyst at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Their executive team said Pradeep had a profound impact on the transplant program.
Pradeep also had great impact on the people around him in every aspect of his life. He loved spending time with his children, extended family and lifelong friends. He built lifelong friendships and will be greatly missed by friends and family alike. Everyone he met described him as the nicest guy they knew.
A visitation/wake will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at the Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Homes, 516 S. Washington Street, Naperville, IL 60540. Viewing will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a short program honoring his life starting at 6:30 pm.
