Charlote (Charolottie) Ann Taylor Patterson, formerly of Lafayette, passed from this life on February 28, 2018 at her home in Nashville, TN.

Lottie, as she was known to family and friends, was born April 13, 1941 in Macon County, Tennessee to William Woodrow Taylor and Vera Olean Sewell Taylor.

She married the late Harold Claiborne Patterson in 1959, and celebrated 52 years of marriage before his passing. Lottie was the foundation of her family, and her faith in the Lord, Jesus Christ was the Rock that she built her world on. She gave her life to the Lord at the age of 7, and never waivered even when facing illness and adversity.

She loved farming, fishing, camping on the lake, and even riding motorcycles. In her latter years Lottie was “Nana” to everyone. She will be remembered for her loving, fun, and generous nature.

Besides her husband, Lottie was preceded in death by her parents, brothers W.W. (Jr) Taylor and Henry Taylor, and by a sister Margaret Ruth Taylor.

She is survived by daughter Linda C. Evans of Goodlettsville, TN and son, Paul A. (Melissa Payne) Patterson of Pleasant Shade, TN; Grandchildren Joshua Alan Ingram, Bran M. Evans, Heather L. Evans, Kimberly D. Evans, and Joe R. Evans, II, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins. Lottie requested a direct cremation. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
