She graduated from Bonaire High School and Georgia State College for Women. Mrs. Williams taught school at Centerville Elementary, Bonaire Elementary, Trion City School, Tifton City Schools, and Macon's Pearl Stephens Elementary. After teaching the first grade for 34 years, she retired in 1975. In 1985, she moved to Westminster Village in Spanish Fort, Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur M. "Peck" Williams, who was killed in World War II.
Survivors include numerous cousins and a special "chosen" daughter, Mrs. J. J. Foreman, Jr. (Mary) and her family.
Funeral services were held on March 10, 2018 at Bonaire United Methodist Church (Chapel) in Bonaire, Ga. Graveside services were also held on March 10, 2018, at Sparta Cemetery in Sparta, Ga.
