She was a 21 year resident of Mesa Az. Prior to Barbara retiring she worked at Sunlife Retirement community as a postal worker. She loved the casino, Christmas, spending time with her family and enjoyed researching her family history and genealogy. She was loved by all and will be truly missed.
Surviving family members in addition to her husband John includes son Bruce Iannacone and wife Marcia of Danbury Ct., daughter Lisa Durgy and husband Ronald of Mesa, Az., daughter Susan Schumacher and husband Michael of Mesa, Az., son Charles Iannacone of Gilbert, Az., son John McDonald and wife Josie of Anchorage, Ak., son Richard McDonald and wife Holly of Anchorage, Ak., and brother Lawrence McElwee and wife Claudia of Mesa, Az., 12 grandchildren, one grandchild that proceed her, 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday August 14, 2009 at 3:00pm at Mountain View Memorial Gardens, 7900 East Main St. Mesa, Arizona (480-832-2850) Following the memorial, friends are welcome to join Barbara's family afterward at Sunlife retirement community in the dining hall. 5055 E. University, Mesa, Az.
