Lorene K. "Beanie" Keyes, 70, of Clark Lake, Michigan, passed away Monday, September 18, 2017, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 15, 1947 in Jonesville to Raymond & Helen (Guy) Steward. Beanie was married October 17, 1997 to Walter Keyes and he survives.
Lorene was employed at Anesthesia Business Consultants in Jackson for many years. She was a graduate of Jonesville High School and Beanie loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving besides her husband Walter are three children, Laura Ellis, Beth (Ben) LaCross and Walter (Kristina) Keyes, all of Jackson; six grandchildren, Barbara Mercer, Patricia Mercer, Anthony LaCross, Zachary Keyes, Hunter Keyes and Joshua Keyes; 2 great-grandchildren, Brendan Rosso and Evan Mercer; brother, Jerry Steward and sister-in-law, Colleen Steward, both of Jonesville.
Beanie was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Roger and a brother Ronald in infancy.
Memorial services for Lorene "Beanie" Keyes will be Thursday, September 28, 2017, at 6:00 PM, at the Eagle Funeral Home in Jonesville with Chaplain David Goldsmith officiating. Private family interment will take place at the Sunset View Cemetery in Jonesville. The family will receive friends for visitation Thursday from 4-6 PM, at the funeral home.
