Pauline Barnes Schlang, age 93, of Gatlinburg, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018.
She was born in Smokemont, NC and grew up near Greenbriar. Pauline went to a single room school in Pittman Center and moved to Michigan during World War 2. She returned to Gatlinburg each year to visit her mother and father and moved back with her husband in 1973.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Henry Barnes and Annie Gibson Barnes, husband, Paul C. Schlang, brothers, Jeff Deavers, James H. Barnes, Glen Barnes, Paul H. Barnes, and grandson, John Paul Whaley.
