Glen Franklin Clanton, age 86, of Nashville, was a son to the late Franklin Edgar Clanton and Etta Sherrill Clanton.
He was also predeceased by his brother, Donald Henry Clanton.
Glen began his long and distinguished career as a mathematics professor. He was later named Associate Dean of the College of Arts and Science at Vanderbilt University. When he retired from Vanderbilt, he held the position of Deputy Provost and Dean for Academic Services.
His life and career will be chronicled in depth at a Memorial service Thursday, June 2nd, 1 p.m., with visitation starting at 12 Noon, at Vine Street Christian Church, 4101 Harding Road, Nashville, TN.
Interment in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
