Kenneth David Ables, 62, passed away on Friday, March 2, 2018, at North MS Medical Center after a sudden illness.He was born on September 23, 1955 in Tupelo to Hilton "H.B." Boone and Jessie Faye Bradley Ables. He had lived most all of his life in Lee County, was the former owner of Ables Kitchen and Bath of Tupelo, and was a Baptist. He loved music, singing and playing his guitar, & spending time with his family.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Chapel of Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Nettleton with the Rev. Robert Earl Fowlkes officiating. Burial will be in Palestine Cemetery. A private, family only committal service will follow at Palestine Cemetery.

Survivors include one daughter, Keri Ables Dikes (Justin) of Nettleton; one brother, Harold B. Ables (Jane) of New Albany; three grandchildren, John Eric, Waylon Able, & Wyatt Jace Dykes.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Daisy Rogers; one grandson, Jesse Ray Dykes.

Pallbearers will be Justin Dykes, Jon Eric Dykes, Kevin Malone, Marshall Veasey, Alston Veasey, Kenneth Eskew, David Eskew.

Visitation will be Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. and will continue Monday from 12 Noon until time for services, all at the funeral home.
