Christine Elizabeth Aker Mabe, age 89, of Tazewell, Va. passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2018.
She was born on June 12, 1928, in Wythe County, daughter of the late Edgar Lee Aker and Lottie Mae Archer Aker.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harry E. Mabe, Sr. S
he is survived by her son, Elwood Mabe of Tazewell, Va.; daughter, Bernelle Alise Mabe of Tazewell, Va.; sister, Juanita Umberger of Wytheville, Va.; two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at West End Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Ollie's Place, 590 N. 4th Street, Wytheville, VA 24382.
