Age 43, passed away February 27, 2018. He was born December 26, 1974 in Dallas, Texas, to Jerry and Charlotte Diffee.
Jason served as a Dart Police Officer for the past 16 years. Prior to serving in law enforcement, Jason served with the Dallas County Volunteer Fire Department and attended Kilgore Fire Academy. In Jason’s time off he would serve at Hidden Acres Christian Retreat Center, speaking to the campers about the role of policemen to protect and care for their communities and helping to keep up the grounds.
He will be remembered by all who met him as having a compassionate, servant’s heart and a great love for the Lord.
He is preceded in death by his Father, Jerry Diffee. He is survived by his sons, Mason and Logan, his mother, Charlotte and two brothers, Jeffrey and wife Martha, Jonathan and wife Michelle, nephews Dillon, Payton, Tanner, Micah, nieces GeriAnna, Jennifer and Ashely and seven great-nephews.
Services will be held at Mimosa Baptist Church, 1233 N. Beltline Road in Mesquite, Texas, Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 12:00 pm. Presiding minister will be his brother, Pastor Jeffrey Diffee of Love Fellowship in Kaufman, Texas.
Visitation will be Friday, March 2, 2018 at Sunnyvale Baptist Church Youth Building, 3018 N. Beltline Road, Sunnyvale, Texas, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
