GREENSBORO - Cosie Case Simpson passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2007, at Countryside Manor in Stokesdale.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 16, at Westminster Gardens Cemetery with Dr. Wilson Stewart officiating.
Cosie was born in Guilford County on August 13, 1919, to the late Samuel Garrett and Kate Shotwell Case. She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Cleo Simpson, Jr.; brothers, Ruffin, Tom and Nat Case; and sisters, Ina Griggs, Mae Fields, Vivian Moore, Gladys Murphy and Ruby Alley Hanner.
Surviving Cosie are her sons, Ronnie Mack Simpson, Sr. and wife, Mary Kay and Michael Larry Simpson and wife, Ruth, all of Greensboro; grandchildren, Kim (Gary) Rosende, Ronnie, Jr. (Lisa), Connie, Amy, Sammy, Danny and Emmy Simpson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The Simpson family will be receiving friends from 7 until 9 p.m. this evening at Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home, North Elm Chapel.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. David Kaplan and Dr. Wilson for their special care and also to thank the staff at Countryside Manor for their kindness and care for Cosie.
