Robert Lee Rallis, 89 of Vernon, Texas died on Wednesday, February 28, 2018, in Vernon, Texas.
Graveside service will be Monday, March 5, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home. Officiating will be Joe Dale Wilson.
Robert was born Tuesday, November 20, 1928 in Vernon, Texas; he was the son of the late Panagiotis Rallis and the late Mary Pevoda Rallis. He married Patricia Ann Wallace on January 1, 1953 in Vernon she preceded him in death on April 7, 2013. He served in the US Army 1950-1952 in Germany during the Occupation. He was president of the Cavaliers Car Club from 1956 to 1960. He was an avid drag racer known as an Avid Ford Enthusiast.
He is survived by his son, Robert D. "Pete" Rallis of Vernon, TX, daughter, Terri Fitzgerald (Joe) of Vernon, TX, sister, Pauline Moore of Granbury, TX. Two grandsons Ryan Fitzgerald (Allison) of Lewisville, TX, Joshua Fitzgerald of Wichita Falls and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife and a brother George Rallis May 5, 2015.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 4, 2018 at 6:00 to 7:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
