Jane was baptized on April 22, 1832 in Kirkby Malzeard.

Immigrated in 1842, arriving in New York on October 31 on the ship "Alfred" from Liverpool.

Married John Wigle on December 16, 1851. They had ten children together.

Jane died of pneumonia and was buried on June 27, 1901.
