Stella Haga Riley, 97, of Bristol, VA passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018 at NHC Healthcare of Bristol. She was born in Konnarock, VA on October 22, 1920, a daughter of the late James and Ida Blevins Haga. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Mack Eller; two sons, Bill and Roger Haga; three brothers; and eight sisters.
She was a native of Konnarock, VA and had lived in Bristol, VA since 1979. She attended Liberty Baptist Church, Bristol, TN.
Stella is survived by two daughters, Ida Hudson and husband Charles of Bristol, TN and Linda Slagle and husband Tony of Kingsport, TN; son, Paul Haga of Bristol, VA; six grandchildren, Marie Green and husband David, Carol Shaffer and fiancé Eddie Hudson, Robert Haga, Jodi Leonard and husband John, John Haga and wife Carmen, and Jason Myers and fiancé Trish; nine great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, March 5, 2018 at Konnarock Community Cemetery in Konnarock, VA with Dr. Stan Anderson officiating.
She was a native of Konnarock, VA and had lived in Bristol, VA since 1979. She attended Liberty Baptist Church, Bristol, TN.
