Leila Mildred Young Booth, 83, of Tifton passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at her residence.

Graveside services were held at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 4th in Staunton Cemetery in Lenox with Rev. Ike Branch officiating. The family request no visitation.

Mrs. Booth was born July 2, 1934 in Tift County to the late John Henry Young and Leila Howell Young. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Luther “Sam” Booth who died November, 2017 and two sisters and two brothers. Mrs. Booth was a homemaker and a member of First Church of Nazarene. She graduated from Mystic High School in Irwin County and worked for Rudy’s Drugs and Midtown Pharmacy. Mrs. Booth enjoyed singing in the choir, reading and working word puzzles.

Mrs. Booth is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Lisha and Richard Woods of Atlanta; one son, Keith Booth of Tifton; four grandchildren, Jane’t Ensley, Katie Booth, Sam Booth and Jonathan Searcey; two great grandchildren, Cameron Ensley and Kaiya Ensley; two brothers, John Young of Indiana and Benny Young of Deland, Fla.; one sister-in-law, Hazel Sumner of Nashville.

Albritton Funeral Directors was in charge of the arrangements.
