" John 11: 25-26. A resident of St. Amant, she passed away on Monday, Sept. 7, 2009. She was 83 and a native of Belle Alliance. Visiting at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, on Wednesday, Sept. 9, was from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting will resume at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Amant, on Thursday from 8 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Entombment in Holy Rosary Mausoleum. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Louis M. "Leg" Templet Sr.; daughter, Geraldine "Deanie" Templet; two sons and daughters-in-law, Louis "Tony" Templet Jr. and Frances, and Vernon Templet and Arlette; two sisters, Elsie Frederic and Joyce Frederic; two brothers, Lionel "Boogie" Babin and George Babin Jr.; and 15 grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and eight stepgreat-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, George Babin Sr. and Bertha Parent Babin; daughter, Barbara LeBlanc Johnson; son, Terry Templet; two brothers, Louis Babin and Fritz Babin; and great-granddaughter, Lacee Rae LeBlanc. Pallbearers will be Randy LeBlanc, Jeremy Templet, Quincy Templet, Herman Rouyea, Caleb Jarreau and Alex Templet. Honorary pallbearer is Bodhi Moreland. The placing of the pall will be done by her granddaughters, Sandy Roy, Cheré Schexnaydre, Pamela Jarreau, Chantelle Pape, Misty Moreland, Nikki Dupuy, Kara Jumonville, Natalie Fontenot and Sally Bourgeois. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. The family would like to thank the staff of Gonzales Healthcare Center, especially, Brenda, Joyce, April, Janette, Sarah and Caroline.
