Jerry A. Adams, 76, died on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at his residence in Gibson, TN surrounded by his loving family.
A native of Russia, AR, Jerry was born on May 25, 1941, the son of Austin and Maudie Marshall Adams. He began his career with Watkins Investments and was later affiliated with Thomson and Thomson for forty years retiring as the Superintendent and Vice-President. He was a licensed pilot who loved to fly, as well as, being avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and drag racing. He was also an avid Arkansas Razorback fan.
He is survived by his wife, Roberta Adams of Gibson, TN; two daughters, Jerri Sue Maxwell and husband Chris of Jackson, TN and Darla Robbins and husband Mark of Milan, TN; a son, Gregg Adams and wife Tracy of Jackson, TN; seven grandchildren, Katlyn Maxwell, Olivia Maxwell, Gabby Maxwell, Tori Robbins, Caleb Robbins, Kylie Adams and Drake Adams and a brother Ronnie Adams and wife Debbie of Alma, AR.
SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, March 2, 2018 in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors, with Dr. Paul Clayton officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgecrest Cemetery.
