A. E. Davis would have been 90 on March 14th. Services were held at First Methodist Church officiated by Reverend A. W. Hall, the pastor and assisted by Reverend W. T. Hamer, pastor of the First Baptist Church. Survived by four daughters: Laurel Howell, Lillie Patterson, Sellie Caskey, Mrs. Clyde Hinkle. Two sons: E. W. Davis and Etherly Davis. Runnels County Register, February 26, 1941.
