Freddy was the second son of Edward B. and Dorothy Mae Neal Rogers. He has one older and one younger brother and one older sister. Jim and Dorothy raised their family mostly in Greenbrier county.
Freddy was an excellent mechanic. He especially liked Ford trucks. In the spring he liked to hunt edible wild mushrooms. His other favorite foods were deer meat and trout. He also loved my homemade biscuits.
Freddy was a very good cook himself. He made deer gravy that was fantastic! He also made a deer and stuffing casserole that was heavenly.
He liked going to flea markets. Freddy traveled all around making new friends and trading. He was a very loveable person who would help anyone in need. He loved bluegrass and country music. His favorite artists were George Jones, Conway Twitty, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Sr., Marty Stuart, Hank Williams, Jr. and Loretta Lynn.
He is laid to rest between his older brother, Eddie Lee Rogers, Sr. and his mother, Dorothy Mae Neal Rogers.

Those we have held in our arms for a little while,
we hold in our hearts forever.

If love could have saved you,
you would have lived forever.
