At an early age, she and her mother relocated to Memphis, Tennessee. Educated in the Memphis City School System, Cynthia was a graduate of the Memphis Technical High School, Class of 1978.
After graduation, it was back to Kansas City, Missouri with her mother. The two were inseparable. As an only child and the apple of her mother's eye, Cynthia was blessed to become part of a wonderful blended family when her mother married Mr. James Matthew Jones. In this family unit, she would have brothers and sisters.
She held several positions in the work force, the most notable, was that of a Welder. In a field largely dominated by men, she excelled in this arena.
Cynthia was fun loving, humorous and one who loved life. She enjoyed card games, listening to music and dancing. She especially liked to shop and dress to impress.
A wonderful daughter, sister and friend, Cynthia will be greatly missed.

Jones; three sisters: Madeline Minniefee, Storm Jackson, and Monaco Jones; two brothers, James Jones and Reverend Ernest Jones; two special friends she considered family, "Getta" and Charles Wilks; and a host of other relatives, friends, and her beloved doggy, "Socks."
