Lois Fern, 81, of Columbia, MO passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018 at her home. Funeral Services were held Monday, February 26, 2018 at Memorial Funeral Home with burial following in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Lois was born September 7, 1936 in Boone County, MO to Frank Brown and May Johnson. On June 7, 1952, she married Clarence Batye in Columbia. They resided on the family farm since 1961. She was an active member of the Englewood Community Club. She especially loved to cook for and spend time with her family.
She is survived by two sons, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, five sisters and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; brothers, Walter Ray Brown and Bill Brown, and her parents.
