Albert H. Knipper, 90, of 4929 Welborn Lane in Kansas City, Kansas, passed away on Monday, August 5th, at St. Margaret's Hospital in Kansas City, Kansas. He was born in Oldenburg, Germany, and had lived in Kansas City, Kansas, for 55 years. He was a retired carpenter. Mr. Knipper was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. He was survived by four daughters, Mrs. Alma Kraft, Mrs. Rose Ann Lierz and Mrs. Edith Huggins, all of Kansas City, Kansas, and Mrs. Jane Nelson of Kansas City; four sons, Albert L. Knipper of Shawnee, Wilfred A. Knipper of Pensacola of Florida, Edward R. Knipper of Kansas City, Kansas, and Lawrence J. Knipper of Prairie Village; 25 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

The Rosary was recited on Wednesday night at the Gibson-Butler Funeral Home, where friends called throughout the late afternoon and evening. Services were held on Thursday morning at Gibson-Butler Chapel, followed by the Funeral Mass at Christ the King Catholic Church. Burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
