Darryl worked for Olin Corporation for 37 years, was member of Irvington Baptist Church for 66 years where he served as a deacon. He was an avid golfer & loved Hillcrest Country Club. His favorite past time was spending time with his grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
He was born August 3, 1939 to the late Arthur Duck & Hallie Rose (Mills) Alexander. His was Preceded in death by great-grandson Baseball Buddy Rhodes Edward Jackson. He is survived by his wife Rosemary Alexander; two children Cherri (Andy) Rhodes, & Stephen Alexander; a sister Rosemary (Dennis) Cornett, Brothers Jimmy (Nancy) Alexander, Vic (Sue) Alexander, Bruce (Patti) Alexander; three Grandchildren, & four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday Feb. 23, 2018 at 1 PM EST at the Alexander Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
