George Moon, jr.
George Moon, jr., was found dead in bed Tuesday morning at his home on the Ash Grove road. He had been in poor health for a number of years and a few weeks ago suffered a shock. He was born in Petersburg, October 20, 1890, the son of George R. Moon and the late Mary Moon.
Funeral services are being held this afternoon at the Mahar Funeral Home at Hoosick Falls, and burial will be in the family plot at North Bennington.
Surviving including his father are three brothers, William of Bennington, and David and Richard of Buskirk; and two sisters, Miss Mary Moon of Hoosick Falls and Mrs. Frank Russell of this place; also several nephews and nieces.
Not listed in this obituary is that he was married twice; Clara (Bump) Moon and Phebe (Bump) Moon.
He had two daughters one with Clara - Mary Moon and one with Phebe who is linked below.
