Lillian Flora Bailey age 98, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday February 21, 2018. She was born in Austin, Texas on November 21, 1919 to Alma Laura Brau Davis and Calvin Porter Davis.

She was a very friendly, kind, helpful, and generous person, but her lifework here is done. Her new calling takes her to a wonderful place where she will be socializing, dancing, baking and quilting to her hearts content. She never missed sending a birthday card to her loved ones. She was very outgoing and friendly with everyone, enjoyed going to church and spending time with her family, especially all of her grandchildren. She will be reuniting with family and friends that she has not seen in a very long time and music, laughter and love are now guaranteed! She will be loved and missed by all of her family and everyone that knew her.

Lillian had 66 descendants and is preceded in death by her parents, Alma Davis and Calvin Davis; her daughters, Rebecca Ruth Morton, Beverly Alma Degner; son Leslie Robert Leonhardt; stepsons, Dudley Boring, Henry Quentin Boring; sister, Rose Nicholas; brother, Dan Davis; grandson, Keith Redmond; and great granddaughter Lillian (Lilly) Boring.

Lillian is survived by her husband, William Lloyd Bailey, Jr.; her children, Anthony Alfred Boring, Mary E. Redmond, Stanley M. Boring and wife Vickie, Jerry James Boring and wife Tina Woody, and Sherry Lillian Boring Wommack and husband Frank Jasek; her step-son, Jimmy Boring: her sisters, Nancy Sears and Lucille Priest. Also survived by 17 grandchildren; grandsons, Gene Morton Jr., Gary Morton, Michael Morton, David Morton, Kristopher Boring, Eric Davidson, Christopher Boring, Steven Degner, Ross Boring, Jared Boring, Russell Boring and James Wommack; granddaughters, Tammy Leonhardt Kothmann, Sharon Starling, Deanna Boring, Joanne Sawyer, and Ashley Holman. She is also survived by 35 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren, and many friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at Sterling-White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd., Highlands, on Sunday evening February 25, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Services will be held in Sterling White Funeral Home Chapel on Monday February 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Sterling White Cemetery.
