NORA E. GEHR, 88, of 647 W. Washington St., died Friday at Washington County Hospital. Born in Charlton, she was the daughter of Rudolph and Mary L. Davis Charles. Her husband, Garnet M. Gehr, Sr., preceded her in death in 1978.
She was a partner in G.M. Gehr and Son. She was a member of St. Matthew's United Methodist Church and the Golden rule Sunday School Class.
She is survived by one daughter, Loretta Spielman; son, Garnet M. Gehr Jr.; brother, Clyde Charles, Carlisle, Pa.; and one granddaughter.
Services were held at the Minnich Funeral Home. Burial in Rest Haven Cemetery.
