BILLY CHARLES AMOS
Billy Charles Amos, born April 8, 1952 passed peacefully in his sleep February 16, 2018 at Mountain View Health and Rehab. He was a treasure to all who knew him. His ability to laugh and leave one better than arrived will truly be missed by all.
Billy was preceded in death by his loving parents C. W. Marsh Amos and Eva Viola George Amos: his wife of 30 years who cared for him with love and compassion, Janet Ann Brown Amos: and the following sisters: Beverly June Boyles, Neva Jo Sanders, Wanda Kay Taylor and Shirley Ann Hanks. Billy leaves behind 4 sisters, Constance Elaine Osborn of Maysville, Missouri, Ila Sue Hunt of St. Joseph, Missouri, Eva Jean Amos of St. Joseph Missouri and Rita Carol Sommer of Osborn, Missouri all of whom will miss him greatly. He is also survived by four children: Billy Amos and wife Pam of Jackson, Tennessee, Michelle Mills and husband Felix of Oxford, Mississippi, Dean Amos and Tonya Branscum of Fox, Arkansas and Sheila Pate of Oxford, Mississippi. He has eight grandchildren who think the world of him: Bradley Amos, Weston Amos, Hayden Mills, Grant Mills, Harper Mills, Justice Branscum, Modie Pate and Anson Pate. There are many additional family and friends who will grieve his passing.
Billy was a loving, genuine, and caring man.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 18, 2018 from 7:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Fox United Pentecostal Church in Fox, Arkansas and funeral services will be at the church on Monday, February 19, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. and Bro. Scott Langford will officiate. Burial will be in Fox Cemetery, Fox, Arkansas. Pallbearers include Bradley Amos, Weston Amos, Hayden, Mills, Felix Mills, Bro. Tim Teague and Bro. Jim Hodkinson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bro. John Elliott and Bro. Billy Davis
