Mrs. Mamie Jo Ann Bailey of the Jordan Community passed away here yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock in the McBryde Nursing Home.

She was born July 8, 1869 in Joplin, MO and was 71 years old.

The funeral services were held in the Forrest Schoolhouse today at 2:30 and interment will be at Prater Cemetery. Rev O.L. Dennis officiated and the Doughty Funeral Home was in charge of the funeral arrangements.

Mrs. Bailey's husband passed away last December. She is survived by Ernest Bailey now residing near Forrest, Walter Bailey of Ft Sumner, and Marcus Bailey of Jordan. Six daughters are also living: Mrs. JB Langford, Mrs. Gee Rush, Mrs. Melvin Curtis, Mrs. WE Kirk all of whom live in the Jordan Community, and Mrs. W L Lacy of Turkey, Texas, and Mrs. Vina Majors of Wichita, Kansas.
