Charles Walter "Buck" Boland, 86, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 19 at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father John Wright officiating. Burial will follow at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Sunday, February 18 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street.

Buck was born in Macon to the late Joseph Lee Boland, Sr. and Mattie Kate Sullivan Boland. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was a combat veteran. Buck graduated in 1949 from Lanier High School. He was a retired machine operator at Inland Container. Buck was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the American Legion.

Those left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Dr. Joe Boland of Macon, Margaret Ann Wright of St. Augustine, FL, Sue Rhinehart of Douglasville, GA and Daniel Eugene Boland of Warner Robins; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Snow's Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street, has charge of arrangements.
