Shreveport, LA - Funeral services for Margaret Jean Chandler Heidecker, 86, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Pastor Brian Opbroek officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery.

Margaret was born August 5, 1931 in Shreveport to Estes and Moise Chandler and passed away on February 8, 2018. She was a sports enthusiast who played softball all her life.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leonard Charles "Bo" Heidecker; and sister, Pauline Lavender. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Helen Heidecker Billingsley; sons, Jerald O. (Jerry) Heidecker and Leonard Charles (Sonny) Heidecker, Jr.; brother, Marion (Mark) E. Chandler and wife Nann; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Billingsley, Jerry Heidecker, Mark Prymeck, and Tristen Cotton. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Willis-Knighton Pierremont, especially Michelle and Leann.
