W.L.Detrick succumbs to illness on Thursday.
William L. Detrick,74, for the past ten years a resident of El Dorado County, died Thursday in Placerville following a long period of gradually declining health. He was a native of Indiana and formerly kept store at El Dorado, moving to Clarksville later.
Surviving are three sons, A.R. Detrick of Clarksville, R.A. Detrick of Julian, Calif., and R.F. Detrick of San Francisco.
Funeral services will be private, it was said. Arrangements had not been concluded up to the time of going to press.
