Dr. Walker is survived by his wife of 63 years, Margaret F. Walker, his brother John Hand (Emily) and many nieces and nephews.
Dr. Walker was a graduate of Palmer Chiropractic College, and the Upper Iowa University. He practiced chiropractic and holistic medicine in Birmingham for 30 years.
He was a life long learner and a student of the Bible and the Hebrew language. He loved nature, and especially astronomy and was always eager to share his knowledge with others.
He also served in the U.S. Army Air Force as a fighter pilot during World War II. Dr. Walker was a member of the Riverchase Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Funeral arrangements will be conducted by Elmwood Cemetery
