Alice J. Saunders, 69, was born on Nov. 5,1948 in Marion daughter of Leroy and Lucy (Goley) Atkinson. Alice graduated from Missinewa High School in 1967, married Robert "Mick " Saunders on June 8,1969 and he survives.

Also surviving are their children; daughter: Amanda (Jimmy) Niedrach of Fishers; son: Rob (Rhonda) Saunders of SC; grandchildren: Garrett Saunders, Levi Marlatt, Luke and Lauren Niedrach; brother: Larry Atkinson of Greenwood; sisters: Linda Kay (George) Ailes and Carolyn Studebaker, all of Gas City.

Preceded by her parents; daughter: Laurie Jane Marlatt (2006) and brother: Lewie Atkinson.

Burial was on Sat. Feb. 10,2018 at Lewisville Cemetery.
