Dean was born to the late Emery Ray & Estel (Turner) Garrison April 30, 1946 at Lightner Hospital Harrisburg, Il. He graduated from Harrisburg High School 1964. He retired from Xcel Engery, Minneapolis, Mn.Survivors include his son Russ (LaDana) of Pocahontas, Tn., grandson Logan (Presleigh Dix) of Selmer, Tn., great-grand daughter Addison; brother Bill (Sarah) Houston, Tx., sister Coleta Wingo Waukegan, Il., Carolyn Peters Rockford, Il., Anna Belle McCormick Beach Park, Il., Opal (Leonard) Baird Wadsworth, Il., Brenda Winters Eldorado, Il.; dearest uncle to many nieces , nephews & great nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his devoted friend, Tomas 2006, beloved Boston Terrier Luz-ee; parents Ray 1982, Estel 1993; brother Donald 1981, sister Maxine Lamar 2006; nieces: Lisa (Sweetwood) Wilten 2007, Denise (McCormick) Prueitt 2011, Sheila (Baird) Chilton 2015, great niece Karen Lamar 2011.
