Blaine E. "Tex" Chrise, 71, of Mechanicsburg, passed away Friday, at his residence.
He was retired as a sales manager of Central Lincoln Mercury, Harrisburg; a member of Mechanicsburg Club; VFW Dillsburg; and a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War.
Blaine is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, John E. and Melodee Chrise of New Bern, North Carolina; a daughter, Jeanette E. Egerer at home, a daughter, Joy E. Shirey of Las Vegas, Nevada; a son and daughter-in-law, Edwin L. and Jeanna Stone of Gaithersburg, Maryland; a brother, Norman Sanner of Charlotte, North Carolina; 2 grandchildren, Jillian Mary Catherine Chrise, Joseph David Chrise, both of New Bern, North Carolina and his faithful companion Loki at home. He was preceded in death by a son, James E. Chrise.
A memorial service will be Monday, at 7: 30 p.m., in the Myers Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg, with the Reverend William C. Butts, officiating. Visitation will be from 7-7: 30 p.m., Monday, in the Myers Funeral Home. Burial will be Tuesday, at 2 p.m., at Thomas Cemetery in Markleysburg, PA.
