SAUK CENTRE, June 15 - Mrs. Nes Barner died here at her home Saturday morning as the result of a stroke suffered on the preceding Friday. Florence Smith was born in Iowa 56 years ago. She moved with her parents to Swift county in 1896 and married Nels Barner at Benson, November 23, 1898. Until 19 years ago the couple lived on a farm south of Benson. They then moved to Spicer and lived there seven years. Since leaving Spicer they have lived in this community.
Besides her husband Mrs. Barner leaves two children, Mrs. Charles Parks, Sauk Centre; and George, who lives at home.
