Petronella "Pat" Adams passed this life February 1, 2018 at the age of 77. She was born January 16, 1941 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to James Tracey and Mary Agnes (Humm) Cullen. Pat received her early education in the Catholic School System in Muskogee and in the 9th grade, she transferred to Porter. On July 8, 1960, Pat married the love of her life, Ernest Adams.
Pat was a strong, independent woman who truly loved life. She enjoyed square dancing, bowling, camping and spending time at the lake. She spent over 40 years as a school bus driver, a job which she loved. Pat also spent several of her summers working on a combine, cutting alfalfa. Pat was the foundation of her family and truly had a huge heart. Whenever there was a need, Pat was there. Above all, she loved her family and cherished her time spent with each of her children and grandchildren.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, James Tracey and Mary Agnes Cullen, along with six brothers; James, Vick, Bernie, John, Tom and Mike Cullen and three sisters; Mary Blankenship, Loretta Seabolt and Annie Greuel.
She is survived by her husband, Ernest Adams, three children; Leroy Adams and his wife, Cleda, of Porter, Joyce Case and her husband, Jeff, of Muskogee and Tammie Lane and her husband, John, of Muskogee, two sisters; Helen Coppock of Muskogee, and Becky Harding of Wagoner, three sisters-in-law; Mary Cullen of Texas, Marlette Cullen of North Carolina and Vonnie Cullen of Okay, six grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and numerous other family and friends.
A service will be held at 11:00A.M., Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Muskogee, OK. Sunday, February 4th, there will be a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. at the Shipman Funeral Home Chapel. Viewing will take place Monday, February 5th, and Tuesday, February 6th, from 9:00A.M. - 5:00P.M. The Funeral Arrangements were under the care of Shipman Funeral Home & Crematory in Wagoner, OK.
