Richard loved Airplanes, Boats, Horses, and Golf. He was a licensed Pilot and licensed FAA Inspector. He worked as the Vice President of sales and service at Embraer Aircraft.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cathy Elliott; 3 daughters, Jamie (Darryl) Gibbs of Aurora, IN, Jodi (Steve) Battista of Longwood, FL, Krista Jansen of Aurora, IN; brother, Nelson (Marcia) Elliott of Aurora, IN; sister, Marilyn Sue (Mike) Perry of Scottsdale, AZ; and 7 grandchildren, Sierra Gardner, Ethan Battista, Rylee Gardner, Jared Battista, Davis Battista, Zander Schaefer, and Ryder Schaefer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Aaron and Miriam Elliott.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 2 pm to 4 pm at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home, Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 4 pm, with Pastor David Hall officiating.
