Mrs. Julie Smith Robinson, age 88 formerly of Buffalo, widow of Lewis Edward "Cordwood" Robinson, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018 at White Oak North Grove.
Mrs. Robinson was born December 3, 1929 in Buffalo a daughter of the late James Boyd Smith and Fannie Harrison Smith. She was retired from Milliken & Co.—Monarch Plant. She was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church. Mrs. Robinson was an avid flower gardener, she loved to fish, travel to the mountains, and was an excellent baker. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Surviving are two daughters, Glenda Sutton (Blane) of Moore and Brenda Boyter (Mike) of Spartanburg; one son, Charles Edward Robinson (Debra) of Buffalo; five grandchildren, Erica Raeford, Cricket Palmer, Jesse Robinson, Kevin Sutton, and Keri Sutton; five great-grandchildren, Will and Ryan Raeford, Lexi and Jaxon Robinson, and Caylee Palmer; and her beloved Lab Diesel. She was predeceased by seven brothers and four sisters.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. Kyle Caudell. Visitation will be immediately following the services at the cemetery.
