The remains were brought to Moravia, Thursday, and taken to Olney & Wade's undertaking rooms. Burial was made Friday morning in Indian Mound cemetery. Those who accompanied the remains from Walton were Mr. and Mrs. M. Brown of Pontiac, Mich., the latter a daughter of the deceased, Mr. and Mrs. C. N. Peake and C. G. Robinson of Walton.
Dr. Hand was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Chauncey Hand, of Genoa, and later of Moravia.
After leaving Genoa, about 35 years ago; the deceased studied to become a doctor, and settled in Honeoye Falls, N.Y., where he practiced medicine for a number of years. He
later went to Walton where he lived for some time.
Surviving are a wife and one daughter. A son was killed in an accident about a year ago.
