From the Atlanta Constitution of 16 Feb 1946:
"Mrs. Virginia Chamberlain Freligh, of Phoebus, Va., a native of Atlanta who moved to Virginia several years ago, died Thursday at her home, according to word received here from friends and relatives.
H. M. Patterson & Son announce that the body will arrive here today and will lie in state at Spring Hill...
A graduate of Girls High School, Mrs. Freligh was a member of the All Saints Episcopal church, the Habersham chapter of the D. A. R., and the American Red Cross.
Survivors are a son, Earl Morton Freligh, Jr. of Washington DC, a sister, Mrs. John K. Williamson, of Palm Beach, Fla., a brother, Charles C. Chamberlain, of Atlanta.."
And from the 19 Feb 1946 Atlanta Constitution:
"Graveside services for Mrs. Virginia Chamberlain Freligh will be held at Greenwood Cemetery at 11:30 o'clock Tuesday, Feb. 19, 1946, Dr. John Waldrop officiating. H. M. Patterson & Son."
