Esther (Bogle) Davis, age 102, formerly of Hardinsburg, IN passed from this life on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at the Wedgewood Nursing Home in Clarksville, IN.

Esther was born on September 20, 1915 at Martinsburg, IN She was the daughter of William and Iva Radcliff Bogle.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Hubert "Dave" Davis, her twin sister Ruth Bogle Moore, her brother Richard Bogle, and nephew William Moore.

Esther pursued a career in nursing. She attended the old Norton's Infirmary in Louisville, KY. Esther received her R. N. degree and fulfilled the highest standard of the nursing profession for many years. She also loved quilting and collecting antiques. She loved to go shopping and attending flea markets. Esther was a good neighbor always baking for others.

Esther is survived by one nephew Richard "Dicky" Bogle and one niece Beulah Wilson, and one step-son Roger Davis. Esther is also survived by her friends and caregivers Sandy Dillard and Gerry Goode.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday January 31, 2018 at the Love Funeral Home in Palmyra with burial in the Hardinsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2018.
