A. R. Frantz
Allen R. Frantz, aged 64 years, 45 North Broad street, for 30 years a widely known bottler, died at 2 p.m. yesterday in the Church Home Infirmary, Baltimore, after an illness which started last Christmas.
Mr. Frantz came to Waynesboro in 1906 from Steelton and conducted the A. R. Frantz Bottling Works on Roadside avenue since then. He was a member of the Eagles, Elks, Masonic Order and Shrine.
He is survived by his wife, Laura Alleman Frantz.
Private funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday at the late home in charge of the Rev. Dr. B. Clinton Ritz. Burial will be made in the cemetery at Hummelstown, Pa. Masonic rites will be conducted at the grave.
The body may be viewed between the hours of 7 and 9 o'clock Saturday night at the Nickel Funeral Home.

Allen R. Frantz, born March 1871 (per 1900 census) was the son of Edward. S. and Emmeline (Hummel) Frantz of Harrisburg. He married Laura B. Alleman, Aug. 11, 1897, at Asbury United Methodist Church, York, Pa.
