Julia Berniece Orth, 89, passed away Sunday, Nov. 4 of cardiopulmonary arrest.
A native of Missouri, Orth was a resident of Fontana for forty years. She was a member of the clergy in addition to being a homemaker and volunteer Sunday school teacher. She received her credentials in ministry in 1986 from the Ministry of Salvation. She held church in many nursing homes, including Citrus Care, Laurel and Reche Canyon.
Orth is survived by one daughter, two sons, twelve grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death fourteen years ago by her husband Fred Orth; they had been married 31 years. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Jackie, and son, Daniel.
Service was held Friday, Nov. 9 at Dickey Mortuary, Fontana, with graveside service at Green Acres Memorial Park, Bloomington.
Dickey Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
